Jen graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2005 with a BS in Psychology. While in Wisconsin, Jen worked in a variety of settings that exposed her to the growing needs of individuals with Autism, specifically focusing on home therapy and behavioral intervention programs. Jen moved to the Bay Area in 2005 to pursue a career in the health and wellness industry, training individuals of all abilities. In 2006, Jen combined her passion for working with individuals with special needs to that of the health and wellness industry and started a program called FITBuddies, small group training for individuals with special needs.
Jen recently established BuddiesInACTION with the goal of addressing the health and wellness needs of a greater population of individuals with differing abilities. Jen spoke at IHRSA 2011 and will return in 2012 with the hopes of continuing to educate and inform other trainers and coaches of the importance of addressing the health and wellness needs of those with Down Syndrome, Autism and other like conditions. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends and enjoying all the outdoor activities the bay area has to offer.
